LinkedIn is a more serious form of social media. It is a platform for professionals and business owners to connect with each other and to join groups of people with similar business interests and find jobs. You can upload your CV, list your skills, education history, job history, businesses and websites. It is possible to connect with anyone you have ever worked with, provided that they also have a LinkedIn account. You may also connect with people that you have never met, as long as you have a ‘connection in common’, who knows both of you. This is an easy and fast way to build up business connections.
